On June 29, 2018, Audrey Anderson conducted a photo marathon, taking photographs from sunrise to sunset to express the experience of living in Millis, Massachusetts and shine a light on the diversity within the small town’s borders. Residents contributed to the project on the Millis Public Forum on Facebook by suggesting places and people to photograph. The project was supported in part by a grant from the Millis Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
The opening of the Millis in a Day exhibit will be on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 7 to 9 pm at the Millis Public Library 961 Main St., Millis, Massachusetts, in the Roche Bros. Community Room. It will include 15 16x20 prints taken on June 29 and a slide show of many other photographs taken on June 29 and some taken on other days. All photographs to be displayed were taken in Millis, Massachusetts.
